Laura Henderson is a Colorado-based gravel racer, mom of two boys, and clinical research leader who races with grit, grace, and gratitude.
Laura started racing in the fall of 2021, and has become a consistent front-of-race presence in the women’s gravel field, earning age-group wins, overall podiums, and top female finishes at some of the most competitive gravel events in the country. Her recent results include 1st in age group and 11th female overall at the 2026 UNBOUND Gravel 100, 11th female overall and 2nd in age group at the 2025 UNBOUND Gravel 100, 1st in age group and 6th female overall at Big Sugar Gravel 100, 2nd overall female at the 2025 RAD Dirt Fest 60-mile race, and 1st overall female at the 2024 RAD Dirt Fest. 2nd AG Female and 11th Overall in 2024 Steamboat and 2nd Overall Female in the 2023 Steamboat 100.
Laura has also earned a 2nd-place finish in Women 45–49 at the 2025 USA Cycling Gravel National Championships, a 3rd-place finish in Women 45–49 at the 2024 USA Cycling Gravel National Championships, 1st overall female at the 2025 FoCo Fondo 60, and 1st Women Cat A at the 2026 La Grind.
Her racing reflects the same qualities she brings to life off the bike: resilience, discipline, perspective, and joy in the process. Balancing motherhood, career, training, and racing, Laura represents the kind of athlete who makes a team stronger—not only through results, but through consistency, toughness, humility, and gratitude for the opportunity to keep showing up.
