From Ironman finisher to gravel racer, Heather brings relentless determination, competitive drive, and a championship mindset to True Grit Racing.
A lifelong endurance athlete, Heather competed across every triathlon distance and completed three Ironman races, including the prestigious Ironman World Championship in 2012. After transitioning her focus to cycling in 2014, she quickly found success, capturing the Texas State Time Trial Championship title and establishing herself as a formidable competitor.
Heather burst on the gravel scene in 2015, winning her very first gravel race, the Castell Grind 3/4 Grind, finishing as the top female and 3rd overall. Over the past few years, she has earned multiple overall and age group podium finishes at events including The Traka, Texas Gravel Championships, Gravel Locos, Rattlesnake Gravel Grind, and Dos Gravel.
Off the bike, Heather is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and 10-time World Champion. Her success on the mats reflects the same discipline, resilience, and competitive fire that fuel her performances on the bike.
For the remainder of 2026, Heather is focused on delivering breakthrough performances at Lauf Gravel Worlds, USA Cycling Gravel National Championships, and Big Sugar Gravel as she continues to push her limits and represent True Grit Racing at the highest level.
